I’ve tried this controller on my laptop/PC and with my iPhone. I have NOT tested it on any Android devices. I tested it with some games on Steam (ones that are compatible with controllers to begin with) and it works well. Stays charged quite awhile, too. That said, it took some finagling to actually get it connected to my PC. I guess it’s user error and I wasn’t quite understanding what some of the modes on the controller did, but I eventually got it. There’s a bit more to it than just “plug & play”. For the price, it works and has held up well. Just be sure to verify compatibility with your devices.

Started playing Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga on my iPhone. The touch controls weren’t great, so I wanted to use a physical controller. None of the controllers I had worked on iOS, so I bought this one since it was cheap (About $21 USD on sale). It works great! The shell is made of plastic and feels light. The thumb sticks feel like the original Nintendo Switch joycon sticks. Don’t expect a premium controller experience though.

I got this to play casual games on my iPad while I'm away at college. I specifically got it because I like how portable it is: it packs small, it packs light, and would be so easy to throw into my bag when I have to fly home. Yes, the size makes it a little uncomfortable, especially when trying to use the triggers. But again, I only play casually, and only for short sessions since I'm busy with my studies. So I never get bothered by it. Portability > comfort, is what I had in mind. I've never had any connection issues. After the first time, it just pairs automatically after I turn the controller on. Yes, it's all plastic, but it doesn't feel flimsy at all. The battery life has been great. It can connect to nearly every platforms I can think of, so it's especially versatile. For anyone considering a controller like this, like the 8BitDo Lite 2: I'd highly suggest this over that. It's a little thicker, making it more comfortable. It has support for more devices. And the retracting sticks feature is not a gimmick, it's a genuinely good feature for a controller made for portable use such as this.

This thing blew me away! Other people reviewed this as a travel controller, but this thing works great as my daily driver! I was worried based on the size that it would be awkward to hold, but I was so wrong. This thing just works. The joystick placement, the buttons and triggers, all of it. For the price and quality, you really can't go wrong!

I received this controller free through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review. My husband is a tech enthusiast in his late 30s and regularly games on both an Android phone and a Nintendo Switch, so he tested this controller across those devices. The standout feature for him is the joystick design. The analog sticks can be pushed down into the controller body, which makes a big difference for portability. When collapsed, the controller slips easily into a pocket or small bag without worrying about damaging the sticks. That’s a clever design choice and genuinely useful for travel or casual mobile gaming. The buttons feel surprisingly good for a controller in this price range. They’re clicky and responsive, with clear tactile feedback. Inputs felt consistent during gameplay, and he didn’t notice any mushiness or missed presses while using it on Switch or Android. That said, there are a couple of tradeoffs. The controller is on the smaller side, which is fine for short sessions or portability, but it may feel cramped if you have larger hands or plan to play for long stretches. After about an hour, it started to feel a bit fatiguing compared to a full-size controller. The surface texture is also fairly smooth, and as a result it can feel a little slippery, especially compared to controllers with rubberized grips. It’s not unusable, but it’s noticeable during more intense gameplay. Overall, this feels like a portable, budget-friendly controller with a smart design idea, rather than a replacement for a primary console controller. The retractable joysticks and clicky buttons make it appealing for travel and casual play, while the small size and smooth texture are reasonable compromises given the form factor. If portability is a priority, this controller does something genuinely different and does it well.

I love this thing it works with the Nintendo switch no problem. But what i use it for is running an emulator on my pixel fold. I just unfold to that giant screen pull the controller out of my pocket and i have the ideal mobile gaming setup. I love that the joy sticks sink into the controller makes putting it in your pockets safe and easy. Connects to the Bluetooth with zero issues. The buttons have a nice crisp feel not mushy. Usb type c so it uses the same charger as the switch or your phone. Who needs a gaming phone when you have a fold and a controller. Apple people are really missing out.

Nice and compact which is what I was looking for as I travel for work. Connected to my iPad without issue. Seems to be very responsive and holds a charge well. The joysticks retract in and out to make them even more compact. Very happy with it! Can't be the price!

I was looking for something portable to take while traveling and after trying a bunch of different controllers I landed on this one, a bit hesitant due to mid reviews and price seemed too good to be true. Upon testing I can say this is the best one so far, especially for travel. Very impressed with the quality and portability. The thumbsticks even retract to save space! All the functionality is there with no issues. If you have big hands, it might be a bit too small, but you'd be out of luck with portablility anyways. It fits mine perfectly. It's exactly what I've been looking for.

Best random purchase I've had in along time. The lockable toggles are a great feature and doesnt feel any different from a normal console controller, every bit as responsive. Battery seems to hold up well I've been using it for atleast 3 hours no charge out of the box. Great for playing red dead redemption my phone and makes it way better than the on screen controls. Dropped it twice already on tile and no damage. 10/10 would buy again

It’s small but that’s why it’s compact. Not for large hands but a kid on the go it does what it was intended to do. Nifty piece of gaming kit.

I've been looking for a controller for my model 3 2025 Tesla this was the second one I bought. And it works so I give it 2 thumbs up

This thing is Great, just buy it. Cons: 1) A little hard to turn off ( I use the switch to change modes) 2) Pairing is a pain each time. (maybe be from the way I turn it off) Pros: 1) Easy to travel with 2) works with ES, Retro Arch, and Dalphin (It even plays well enough to use the stick for a wii controller on a few Wii games). 3.) Buttons are responsive. 4) Really light weight 5) The retractable joysticks are awesome, so no issues in the pocket. I had to get my wife one so she could stop stealing mine.

Awesome. There are switches on the back that lock the joysticks in so you can keep it in your pocket without damaging them. I have big hands, so I prefer a larger controller, but this is fantastic for on the go.

It would be a great portable controller, if it just worked consistently. Its light !nd compact and the buttons feel light they should be responsive . The problem comes in connection and regocnition of device controls. I dunno how and why it happens. But even on xbox/pc mode, it doesnt register or stay registered to the control scheme. Playing a game and suddenly the controller thinks r1 is the start button. Or stops registering b button. No amount of resetting or resyncing allowed. Myltiple games multiple devices eventually during each play sessions something changes in the controller and it stops working. Update: recieved a replacement controller that worked perfectly. Buttons worked and maintained the botton configuration. A solid portable controller.

Would give 5 but the feature it says where you can interchange the x/y and a/b doesn't work with android. I've held both the turbo and screenshot button like it says until it vibrates and that or should reverse the button input to the opposite buttons and yet the inputs are still the same. Nothing changed at all. If you ignore that and in your head you don't associate with what games think is A and which ends up actually being B and vise versa the controller works fine but it is mentally annoying if your not paying attention to that.

This was easy to setup! Got a brand new gorgeous Samsung Trifold phone and decided that a mini controller is perfect for this thing and decided on this. Works great and does the job for me. I am normally an xbox gamer and this controller is much smaller than your typical xbox controller, so I am not as "efficent" in my hand coordination with this thing, but I am looking to play more casual games on this phone and will most likely avoid heavy/intense games that require crazy inputs. Bonus: LOVE the fact that the analog sticks can be tucked into the controller for pocket/case storage. Protects the sticks very well! Simply press the sticks into the controller, and flip the switch on the back to lock it in place.

Excellent controller that pairs well with my iPhone and works perfectly for emulated as well as iPhone games. It’s a great value at this price point and I’d highly recommend it over more expensive options. The portability is also a huge plus!

Great budget controller for my son. He has small hands (9 yr old). Build quality is good but doesn’t feel premium. I do like that you can retract the thumb sticks independently of each other.

Awesome little controller for the price. I have big hands so it’s not the most comfortable but it’s 100% useable and doesn’t cause my hands to get sore. Buttons work as intended. Joysticks have little switches to deploy them and store them on the back. Pretty cool little feature to protect the joysticks. All the buttons are tactile and work. Specifically bought this to play GTA: San Andreas on my iPhone and it works perfectly.
